Upcoming Changes to Flexible Working

In July, the Employment Relations (Flexible Working) Act 2023 received Royal Assent. This means the bill has completed all the parliamentary stages in both houses, and the King formally agrees to make the bill an Act of Parliament (law).

The new law is expected to come into force in 2024, approximately a year after Royal Assent, to give employers time to prepare for changes.
