The UK government announced its plans to repeal any retained EU law on 31st of December 2023, unless the relevant department decides to maintain or replace them in advance of the deadline.

The bill will make it easier to amend and replace EU law that would otherwise need to pass an Act of Parliament. There are over 2,400 pieces of EU legislation retained in the UK and over the next year we will keep you updated with any changes to HR employment law.
