Pure Protection Products Market Study
The FCA have launched a market study into how well the distribution of pure protection insurance products is working for consumers.
While the FCA has seen indications of good outcomes for consumers including relatively few complaints and over 95% of new consumer claims being paid out, there are concerns that incentives used to sell these products may affect the outcomes consumers receive, and the products’ value or design.
