The summer season may be over, but there aren't any signs of a slow-down for international travel, with winter sun period firmly underway.
At this time of year we typically see people travelling further away for longer periods, with America, the UAE, Egypt and Mexico proving popular this year, while the Canary Islands remain a firm favourite.
Travel Insurance has never been more important, with the ABI announcing last month that insurers paid out £511m last year, and more than half of that was on medical claims.
